Jammu and Kashmir have made history by beating Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy

Jammu and Kashmir have made history by beating Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy again, and this time they’ve done it in Mumbai’s own backyard. This is a huge achievement for the J&K team, and it’s testament to their hard work and dedication.

The match was played at the Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy BKC in Mumbai, and J&K won by 5 wickets. Mumbai had won the toss and elected to bat first, but they were bowled out for 120 in their first innings. J&K then scored 206 in their first innings, taking a lead of 86 runs.

In their second innings, Mumbai were bowled out for 290, setting J&K a target of 205 to win. J&K then chased down the target with 5 wickets in hand, thanks to some great batting by their top order. Shubham Khajuria scored 45, Yawer Hassan scored 24, and Vivrant Sharma scored 38 to help J&K win the match.

This win is a huge upset, as Mumbai are one of the strongest teams in the Ranji Trophy. But J&K have been playing some great cricket lately, and they deserve all the credit for this win.

The last time J&K beat Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy was in 2014, when they won by 4 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium. That was a great win for J&K, and this one is even more special because it’s come in Mumbai’s home ground.

Shardul Thakur was the star of the show for Mumbai, scoring a century in their second innings. But it wasn’t enough to save his team from defeat. Abid Mushtaq and Kanhaiya Wadhawan were the heroes for J&K, as they finished the run chase and helped their team win the match.

This win is a great boost for J&K’s chances in the Ranji Trophy, and they’ll be looking to carry this momentum forward in their upcoming matches.
