Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Arrives in Srinagar; To Review Security Situation

Srinagar, July 25th : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Srinagar on Saturday on a significant visit to Jammu and Kashmir, where he is scheduled to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the Union Territory.
Official sources said the Defence Minister was received at Srinagar Airport by senior civil, police and Army officials. During the visit, he is expected to hold meetings with top military commanders and security officials to assess the overall security scenario, border management and counter-terrorism operations.
The visit comes amid heightened security focus in the region. Rajnath Singh is also expected to interact with Army personnel and review various operational and strategic matters.
