*Woman Dies, Three Injured in Thanamandi House Collapse Triggered by Rain*

Rajouri, July 25 A woman was killed and two other members of her family were injured after their concrete house collapsed due to incessant rainfall in Bhattian area of Thanamandi area of Rajouri on Saturday.

Officials told that the house belonging to Abdul Rehman, son of Fazal Ullah, resident of Mohalla Maira, Ward No. 03, Bhattian, Thanamandi, gave way amid continuous rain.

The deceased has been identified as Sahida Parveen, wife of Abdul Rehman, aged 45 years.

The injured have been identified as Abdul Rehman, son of Fazal Ullah, aged 63 years, resident of Mohalla Maira, Ward No. 03, Bhattian, Thanamandi, and Tofeeq Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman, aged 23 years, resident of Mohalla Maira, Ward No. 03, Bhattian, Thanamandi.

All three were shifted to Government Medical College Rajouri for treatment. Hospital officials said the injured are under observation.

Police and local administration teams reached the spot and carried out rescue operations with the help of locals.

Authorities have advised people living in vulnerable and low-lying areas to remain cautious in view of the ongoing rain spell across the district.
