CRPF foils weapon—snatching bid in Anantnag, area cordoned off

 

Anantnag, Apr 26 : A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday foiled a weapon snatching bid by unknown persons at Reshi Bazar area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that unknown people tried to snatch the rifle of CRPF trooper by throwing chilly powder into his eyes who was posted at Reshi Bazar, performing duty at the gate of a Kashmiri Pandit.

However, they failed in weapon snatching and fled from the spot, official said, adding that area has been cordoned off—(KNO)
