Srinagar, Aug 26 : Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi on West extended warm greetings to the people on the eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
In a message posted on X by Kashmir Zone Police, the IGP said, “IGP Kashmir extends greetings on the eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). May this auspicious occasion usher in tranquility, unity, and peace throughout the valley.”
The IGP prayed for peace, harmony and brotherhood in the valley on the auspicious occasion.
Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), is being celebrated with religious fervour and devotion across Jammu and Kashmir, with special prayers being offered in mosques and shrines.
