DGP orders attachment of properties of five Pakistan-based terrorists

Srinagar, July 30: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat has ordered the attachment of properties belonging to five terrorists currently operating from Pakistan as part of the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s ongoing crackdown on terror networks and their support infrastructure.

Police officials said the action targets individuals involved in orchestrating terror-related activities in Jammu and Kashmir from across the border. In a related development, J&K Police has secured Proclamation Proceedings against Mohd Qasim, a senior operative of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). His property had already been attached in March 2026 under relevant legal provisions as part of efforts to dismantle the financial and logistical networks supporting terrorism.
