Intermittent spells of rain and thunderstorms are expected over many parts of Kashmir during the afternoon/evening and again during the early morning hours over the next 3 days (until 2 August).
Monsoon showers are also likely across Jammu Division during the same period.
Short-duration heavy showers, thunderstorms, lightning, isolated cloudburst events, flash floods, and landslides are possible across both divisions, especially in vulnerable areas.
No widespread or prolonged rainfall is expected during this period.
