35-year-old lady charred to death in Bandipora

Bandipora, Dec 03: A 35-year-old lady was charred to death in an overnight blaze in TA Shah Village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Local sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a 35-year-old lady identified as Naseema Begum, wife of Fayaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of T.A Shah Village in Bandipora was charred to death in an overnight fire incident.
They said that fire broke out at around 05:00 am in the double story house of Fayaz Ahmad Khan, son of Bashir Ahmad at T.A Shah Bandipora and the lady got trapped in the fire and couldn’t be rescued.
The structure along with household items was completely gutted in the blaze, they said.
A police official confirmed the incident to KDC and said that the cause of fire is being ascertained but apparently seems to have been caused by an electric short circuit. (KDC)
