Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Pulwama

December 15: As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Pulwama facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Post Newa.
The meeting was chaired by DySP Hqrs Pulwama accompanied by In-charge Police Post Newa and was attended by Numberdars, Chowkidars, other respectable citizens of Chakpora Newa Pulwama.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance. The chairing officer listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and issues pertaining to the other departments will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal.
While speaking on the occasion, the chairing officer laid focus on community policing and requested people to provide factual information in identifying anti-national elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment and were requested to cooperate with police and administration.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
