Police seizes 03 vehicles for illegal extraction & transportation of minerals in Pulwama

February 10: Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police along with Geology & Mining department have seized 03 vehicles in Pulwama.

A police party of Police Station Litter alongwith officials from Geology & Mining department raided different locations and seized 03 JCB machines for their involvement in illegal extraction of minerals from Ranbir Nallah at Litter Pulwama.

Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Litter and investigations have been initiated.

Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with their concerned police units.
