IUST organised Blood Donation Camp

Awantipora, May 30. The Health Centre of Islamic University of Science and Technology in collaboration with Government Medical College, Anantnag organized a blood donation camp in the university campus today. The camp had an overwhelming response from students, faculty, university staff, officers and community members and about a hundred units of blood were donated.

The programme was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, Prof Shakil Ahamd Romshoo who emphasized on the importance of organizing such blood donation camps, as it multiples happiness and promotes harmony. Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Manzoor Ahmad Malik, and other officers of the university were also present on this occasion. As per Dr. Zahid Rasool (Medical Officer), the camp witnessed equal participation of female donors.
