Kulgam: PSAJK conducted election for the District President , District Vice-President, District Secretary for the Kulgam District. The elections were conducted by the Election Commission of the district under the overall supervision of the Central Election Commission.. Elections were held at Hamdaniya Restaurant, Chawalgam through secret ballot where Large number of schools from district casted their votes. Waseem Siddiquie was elected as District President, Farooq Ahmad Naik as District Vice-President and Arshid Hussian as District Secretary. After the elections Mr Waseem Siddique appointed Mr Aabid Hussain as District Treasurer and Mr Jahangeer Ahmad as District Organisor. Mr Waseem Siddique thanked all the participants and election commission for the free and fair elections. He vowed to work for the benefit of the school community and sought the co-operation from the schools present on the occasion. Expressing full confidence in Var Sahib’s leadership, Waseem Sahib reiterated that there is a need to strengthen the Association at all levels. On the recommendations of newly elected body, Mr Gh Hassan, Promoter of Leeds Convent School and senior most member of the PSAJK District Kulgam has been unanimously choosen as Patron of the PSAJK, District Kulgam. Congratulating the newly elected office-bearers of District Kulgam, Mr. Var Sahib, President, PSAJK said that the Association will become stronger with the election of Mr Waseem Siddique and his team.
