*Shopian, January 18, :* In a decisive move to combat the growing drug menace, Shopian Police, in collaboration with CRPF’s 14th Battalion, conducted a targeted operation in the village of Daramdoora, Keegam. The operation led to the recovery of a massive haul of **16.7 kilograms of charas** from the residence of Imtiyaz Ahmad Hurra, son of Bashir Ahmad Hurra. The accused was promptly arrested, and an FIR (No. 06/2025) under the NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Shopian.
