*Massive forest fire breaks out in Ganderbal*

Ganderbal, Feb 09 : Massive forest fire broke out at Bonibagh Cherwan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on Sunday.

Locals told news agency—, that the fire broke out this evening and has spread to a vast area. “Fire erupted in the forest compartment 69-S. The area under fire is very dense in range,” they added.

An official told , “Efforts are on to douse the flames. We are trying our best. We have succeeded in stopping it from spreading to the adjoining areas.”—
