Hajin:,The Indian Army’s Manasbal Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (RR) extended a helping hand to families affected by structural damage to their homes in Hajin.
Several houses in the area developed severe cracks on Thursday morning, forcing authorities to evacuate the residents to safer locations. The affected families were shifted to Government Girls School Hajin for temporary shelter.
13 RR unit swiftly responded by providing essential aid to the displaced residents.
Soldiers distributed food packets, blankets, and other relief materials to ensure the well-being of the affected people.
The army assured the residents that it would continue to provide assistance and support as needed.
The affected families, while expressing their gratitude, lauded the army for its timely intervention. “We are extremely indebted to the army for standing by us in this difficult time. At least someone came forward to help us with food and blankets,” said a local resident.
