Class 12 pass outs with top percentage eligible for INSPIRE: BOSE

Srinagar, Aug 15 : In Jammu and Kashmir, only those students who have qualified annual regular results of 12th standard within top one percent would be eligible for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scholarship.

According to the news agencyβ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) has said that these students will be getting Rs 5000 monthly.

β€œAll such students who have passed class 12th under Science Stream from Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education under the Annual Regular examinations held during the academic session Nov-Dec 2021 and March-April 2022, and whose performance is within top 1%, are eligible for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) Scholarship,” BOSE said.

It also said that the students will be eligible provided they are pursuing Higher Education in Basic and Natural Science courses at B.Sc, Integrated M.Sc or BS, MS-level within the specified subjects of INSPIRE SHE Scheme, (Not Medicine and Engineering).
