Anantnag, 11 August: As part of the phase II Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, the Department of Youth Services and Sports, in collaboration with the District Administration and the Police Department, Anantnag organized a colorful and long-distance Tiranga Bike Rally from Khanabal to Ashajipora today. The vibrant rally created a jubilant atmosphere for the participants to celebrate the spirit of Independence Day and the Tricolour in a festive and proud manner.
The rally was flagged off from Dakbanglow Khanabal by the DYSSO, Raja Yaqoob in presence of SHO Saddar Police Station, Majid Khan, District Activity Incharge Mohammad Abbas Dar, and other officials of the YSS Department.
Field officials from the YSS Department, alongside enthusiastic participants, proudly carried the national flag as they passed through the roads and lanes in a visible display of patriotism. The bikers, adorned with the Tricolour, covered a scenic and long route that passed through several key locations including Khanabal Chowk, Nai Basti, Mehdi Kadal, Lal Chowk, Janglaat Mandi Chowk, and Ashajipora before concluding at the Municipal View Park Bypass Road, Anantnag.
The event witnessed warm participation from officials and locals, underscoring the sense of national pride that defines the Independence Day celebrations.
