Kathua, Aug 11 A Pakistani intruder was shot at and detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday at the International Border (IB) in Kathua district, officials said.
In a statement, issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) a BSF spokesperson said troops spotted the man moving suspiciously and advancing aggressively towards the border fence.
The statement reads he ignored repeated warnings to stop, prompting the alert personnel to fire at his legs.
