*Three Killed, Two Injured as Car Carrying Barat Plunges into Gorge in Kathua*

Kathua, Dec 4 Three persons were killed and two others injured after a car carrying a Barat skidded off the Bani–Bhandar road and plunged into a deep gorge on Thursday evening, officials said.

An official told that the vehicle, with five people onboard, met with the accident under mysterious circumstances.

Three persons, Rakesh Kumar of Gatti, Jeevan of Sitting Kote, and Vicky (son of Khem Raj), died on the spot.

Two others, aroumd 22 -23 in age sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment, the official added.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken. Further details are awaited.
