Srinagar District Boys and Girls dominated the 18th UT Roll Ball Championship 2025, held at M.A. Stadium Jammu from November 29 to December 02 with great enthusiasm.
Teams from across Jammu and Kashmir—including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, and Shopian—participated in the event. The Srinagar contingent, led by pioneer and senior Roll Ball coach M. Ashraf Dijoo, excelled in multiple categories. Under his leadership, Srinagar clinched Gold in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories.
The competition witnessed intense contests, especially against Jammu district. Jammu’s Boys and Girls teams put in exceptional performances and secured Gold in the Senior Category.
However, Srinagar maintained a strong upper hand overall, lifting Gold in the U-14 and Senior categories, while the Boys’ teams in U-14 and U-17 categories claimed Silver.
At the concluding ceremony, winners and runners-up were felicitated with medals by the Chief Guest, and Coach Dijoo was honoured with a special Award of Honour for his contribution.
