*Major Theft Network Busted by Jammu Police, South Zone; Police Station Gangyal Recovers Over 06 Stolen Two-Wheelers*

Jammu Police, South Zone has achieved a major breakthrough by busting an active theft network and recovering over 06 stolen two-wheelers, thereby curbing a spate of vehicle thefts reported from different parts of Jammu.

Acting under the strong leadership of the SSP Jammu, and under the continuous guidance of the SP South and SDPO South, Police Station Gangyal launched a focused crackdown after noticing a sudden surge in two-wheeler theft cases within its jurisdiction.

In this connection, the SHO, Police Station Gangyal constituted special teams to trace the culprits involved. One such dedicated team was led by PSI Atta-ur-Rehman. The team conducted extensive field work, analysed theft patterns, developed technical inputs and carried out searches at several suspected locations commonly used for concealing stolen vehicles.

Due to the sustained and systematic efforts of the police team, over 06 high-value stolen two-wheelers have been recovered, which are linked to multiple theft cases registered at different police stations.

This significant recovery sends a strong message to criminal elements that Jammu Police remains fully committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of public property. The coordinated supervision of senior officers and the round-the-clock efforts of the Police on ground have further strengthened public confidence in the police.

Further investigation is underway, and more recoveries and arrests are expected.
