Srinagar, Mar 25 : An unidentified dead body was found on a roadside near Dal Lake area of Srinagar on Wednesday morning, officials said.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the body was lying on the street near ghat no. 5, when it was noticed by locals, following which police were informed.
They said that civil police reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
While the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The identity of the deceased was not known at the time of filing this report. Further details are awaited.
