Anantnag Police organised “Thana Divas” at all Police Stations across the district with the objective of strengthening public-police relations and enhancing community engagement at the grassroots level.
The programme witnessed participation from local residents, community representatives, and civil society members who visited their respective Police Stations to share their grievances, concerns, and suggestions. Police officers, including Station House Officers (SHOs), interacted with the participants, patiently listened to their issues, and assured prompt and fair redressal.
During the interactions, emphasis was laid on improving service delivery, ensuring transparency in policing, and encouraging greater public cooperation in maintaining law and order. Officers also urged citizens to actively engage with the police and report any issues affecting peace and harmony in their areas.
