Kulgam April 28: A residential house was gutted in a midnight blaze in the Hablishi area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
An official said ,that the house belonged to Ghulam Hassan Itoo, son of Gh Ahmad Itoo, a resident of Hablishi. The fire broke out late during the night, quickly engulfing the structure and causing extensive damage to the property.
Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) personnel, along with local residents, rushed to the spot and managed to bring the flames under control after strenuous efforts, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby houses.
However, no injuries or loss of life have been reported in the incident. However, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown and is being ascertained.
