*Anantnag Police Strikes Again: 250g Charas Recovered, Accused Booked Under NDPS Act*

Continuing its sustained efforts against drug trafficking, Anantnag Police achieved a significant success during routine naka checking.
A police party from Police Station Mattan, while conducting naka checking on Kehribal Road near Hangul Restaurant, apprehended one individual identified as Mohd Abass Reshi S/o-in-law of Gh. Mohi-U-Din Deen, a resident of Kehribal.
During the search, approximately 250 grams of charas powder was recovered from his possession. The accused was immediately taken into custody.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 46/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Mattan, and further investigation has been set into motion.
