Srinagar, April 30: A fire broke out in the Bemina area of Srinagar on Thursday afternoon, engulfing multiple residential houses in Usmaniya Colony.
Officials said Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) teams rushed to the spot and are working to control the blaze, which spread rapidly in the congested locality.
The fire is still ongoing, with efforts underway to prevent it from spreading to adjoining structures.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and there are no immediate reports of casualties.
