Anantnag, May 06: A teenage student died after falling from a two-storey house in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the boy slipped and fell from his home in Uranhall, Bijbehara and sustaining critical injuries.
He was rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara and later referred to SKIMS Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Irfan Ahmad Warak (16), son of Gulzar Ahmad Warak, a resident of Uranhall, Bijbehara.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.—(KNO)
