BUDGAM, MAY 20: District Administration Budgam today demolished an illegal brick kiln in the Mulshulla area of Tehsil Beerwah for operating without authorization and in violation of environmental and land-use regulations.
The demolition was carried out under relevant legal provisions under the supervision of SDM Beerwah, accompanied by Tehsildar Beerwah, SHO Beerwah and other concerned officers.
A similar demolition drive was also carried out in Chadoora area of Budgam on May 19 as part of measures to curb unauthorized brick kiln operations in the district.
