Police Conduct Raids at Multiple Locations in Baramulla in UAPA Case

Srinagar, July 9 : Police on Thursday conducted raids at multiple locations in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district in connection with an investigation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

According to officials, the searches were carried out in connection with FIR No. 43/2026 registered under Section 13 of the UAPA and Section 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

During the raids, police seized four mobile phones and one laptop for forensic examination. The searches were conducted in the presence of Executive Magistrates and independent witnesses, following due legal procedure.

Police said the investigation is underway to probe alleged unlawful activities and that further action will be taken based on the evidence collected.
