Director Agriculture reviews progress on Centrally Sponsored Schemes and CAPEX

SRINAGAR, August 20: Director Agriculture Kashmir Sartaj Ahmad Shah today chaired a meeting of all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) at the Meeting Hall of the Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir, Lalmandi, to review the physical and financial progress under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), flagship programmes and the CAPEX budget.
During the meeting, the Director conducted a detailed assessment of the implementation of various departmental schemes and programmes, with particular emphasis on the pace of execution and financial expenditure. He reviewed the status of ongoing activities and stressed the need for timely completion of approved works and achievement of prescribed targets within stipulated timelines.
The Director directed all concerned officers to ensure effective implementation of farmer-oriented schemes at the grassroots level and maintain close coordination with field functionaries.
