Kishtwar, Aug 24 (KNO): Two persons fell into the Chenab River at Murnall Nalla in the Bunjwah area of Kishtwar district on Monday, prompting a search operation, officials said.
An official told the news agencyβKashmir News Observer (KNO) that the two persons fell into the river this afternoon under circumstances that are yet to be ascertained.
He said that soon after the incident was reported, a search and rescue operation was launched in the area to trace them.
βRescue teams are continuing the search along the river stretch, while further details regarding the identities of the persons are awaited,β the official said, adding that cognizance of the incident has been taken.β(KNO)
