Jammu, Aug 25 : A 45-year-old worker died after falling from a height at his workplace near Sidhra Tawi Bridge in Jammu, officials said on Tuesday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the worker was injured after he fell from a height at his workplace near Sidhra Tawi Bridge.
He said the injured person was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Budhi Singh (45), a resident of Ramban who was presently staying in Sidhra.
The official said his body was shifted to the hospital mortuary for postmortem and completion of legal formalities, while investigation into the incident has been taken up.—(KNO)
