Police organises Padh Yatra in Villages of Kulgam

Police-Public cohesion, nurture faith in police is our top priority: SSP Kulgam

November 04: In a proactive effort to address social issues and foster community engagement, Police organized a Padh Yatra (foot march) in Redwani, Hawoora, Katran, Kujjar and Frisal villages of Kulgam district. The initiative was led by Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS along with DDC Frisal Shri Anaytulla Rather and other senior officers of police Kulgam.

During the Padh Yatra, SSP Kulgam engaged with the respected citizens of these villages, providing them with an open platform to voice their concerns and grievances. The community members welcomed the police officers warmly and expressed their concerns openly. SSP Kulgam patiently listened to their grievances and assured them that police is readily available to assist and serve the community whenever needed.

The response from the local population was overwhelmingly positive, with a substantial number of residents actively participating in the Padh Yatra. The procession passed through Redwani, Hawoora and finally culminated at Frisal.

General public of the area thanked and applauded the efforts of SSP Kulgam for his outreach and listening/redressing their grievances.
