Over 650 stranded Amarnath pilgrims in Qazigund provided assistance

Qazigund, July 09: Over 650 Amarnath pilgrims, who were stranded on Jammu-Srinagar national highway due to inclement weather, were provided assistance by the administration and security forces.

An official told the news agencyβ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that civil administration and security forces including Army’s 2 sector provided emergency relief and aid to 676 Yatris including women and children who were stranded near Wuzur area of Qazigund on the highway. .

Meanwhile, pilgrims expressed gratitude to Army and civil administration for providing them aid

β€œWe are happy with the arrangements made by the security forces and civil administration,” said a pilgrim.
