Srinagar, May 15, KDC: A leopard was found dead at Bon-Makhama village in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday, officials said
They told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a body of a leopard was spotted by some locals at Bon-Makhama village and accordingly informed the police.
An official, while confirming about the dead leopard, told KDC that there was no injury on any parts of the leopard’s body, however, concerned wildlife officials have been informed. “Further investigations are on to ascertain the cause of the death, which will be known after autopsy,” he added.
