In view of the prevailing situation, the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has taken a conscious and proactive step towards conservation of energy resources.
For prudent and responsible use of energy resources, the Chief Justice has directed temporary rationalization of the usage of official/security vehicles attached with him as a measure aimed at minimizing fuel consumption and ensuring optimal utilization of available resources during the present circumstances.
The decision reflects the commitment of the High Court towards responsible administration, sensitivity to national concerns and adoption of austerity measures in larger public interest.
