Bhopal: A 25-year-old man, Golden Pandey alias Rahul, was stabbed to death with a broken beer bottle by his 17-year-old wife and her loverโs friends in Madhya Pradeshโs Burhanpur, police said Thursday. The attackers stabbed him 36 times near ITI College on the Indore-Ichapur highway.
The couple, married just four months ago, had gone out for shopping and dinner. While returning, the teen claimed she dropped her slippers and asked Rahul to stop the bike. As he did, her lover Yuvrajโs two friends attacked him and killed him on the spot. The girl then reportedly video-called Yuvraj to show him the body.
The attackers dumped the body in a field. Police recovered it on April 13. The girlโs disappearance raised suspicion, leading to the arrest of all fourโher, Yuvraj, and his two friends, one of whom is also a minor. They have confessed to the crime.
They are charged with murder, conspiracy, and destroying evidence.
