CEO KDA reviews Development Works across Key Tourist Spots

ANANTNAG, APRIL 23:

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kokernag Development Authority (KDA), Mohammad Rouf Rahman, yesterday conducted an extensive tour of various important tourist locations under KDA to review the on-ground progress of ongoing work.

Accompanied by staff and R&B engineers, the tour commenced at Mirza Swami Kaakh Temple Trust, Hangalgund, where the CEO, along with members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, inspected the premises. On the occasion, a newly constructed 4-seater toilet block was handed over to the Trust, addressing a long-pending requirement for pilgrims visiting the temple in large numbers.
Later, the CEO visited Vailoo Main Chowk and conducted a spot inspection to resolve issues related to the location and construction of toilet blocks near the main road and Jamia Masjid. The matter was settled amicably on the spot.
The CEO also visited Daksum, where he reviewed the progress of the KDA cafeteria and the construction of concrete steps leading up to the hutment area of KDA, Tourism Department, and JKTDC. The visit was attended by local residents, shopkeepers, hoteliers, and officials from R&B and KDA.
During the tour, the CEO also visited Dandipora Park and directed KDA officials to ensure its proper upkeep and maintenance. He emphasized preparing the park to welcome tourists and visitors from across Jammu & Kashmir and beyond, with improved facilities and a clean aesthetic environment.
