*BJP MLA Randhawa marshalled out amid uproar, J&K House adjourned till Monday*

Srinagar, Sep 25 : BJP MLA Randhawa was marshalled out of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Friday amid an uproar by BJP members over the statehood resolution moved by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, following which the House was adjourned till Monday.

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the House resumed proceedings following a 30-minute adjournment, with BJP members raising slogans in protest against the resolution and references to the autonomy resolution.

Amid the uproar, Randhawa was marshalled out of the House while attempting to cross through the side. The BJP members raised slogans including “Desh Ke Tukde Hum Nahi Sahege”. They also raised the slogan, “Bijli Pani Jo De Na Saki, Woh Sarkaar Nikami Hai”.

Amid the continued uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House till Monday.—(KNO)
