Srinagar, Apr 27: The Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) installed by Jammu and Kashmir Bank at multiple locations are frequently malfunctioning much discomfiture to the bank customers.
These CDMs like ATMs have been installed at some important locations to avoid the huge rush in the bank branches but these machines often develop technical problems.
“I never saw the CDM installed by JK Bank on Residency Road working. It rarely works. Same is the case with other CDMs, especially at Jawahar Nagar,” a bank customer Nayeem Ahmed told news agency Kashmir News Trust.
People particularly traders used to smoothly deposit their money in less time but since the machines often didn’t work, they are facing hardships.
“Common people don’t know whom to complain and request to look into the matter. Like JK Bank mpay app, JK Bank CDMs are not trustworthy,” said another bank customer. (KNT)
