J&K Students Association urges KU admin facilitate students with ‘Result Awaited Option’ for admission to PG Courses

Srinagar, May 31 : J&K Students Association on Tuesday urged the Kashmir University authorities to provide “result awaited” option for the students of semester sixth to apply for different post-graduation courses whose result is yet to be announced.

In a statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), spokesperson Nasir Khuehami said that the University of Kashmir on May 20 issued its admission notification for various PG and other professional and non-professional courses for the academic year 2022.

“The submission of online application forms began on May 23, 2022, However, scores of students from across the colleges of Kashmir as well as the students from cluster University are unable to fill the form because their six semester results is pending and there is no option for “awaited result” in the online application of form while applying for the different PG courses they are required to fill the details of six semester results, whose result they have pending yet.”, he said.

J&K Union Territory President of Association Faisal Bilal said that, It is bizarre that University has released the admission notification for different Post graduation courses, but there is no option for the students whose six semester result is pending. The issue should be resolved at the earliest “. He urged newly appointed Vice Chancellor Nilofar Khan to kindly intervene in the issue at the earliest so that students are not subjected to any kind of stress—(KNO)
