JAMMU, Sep 17: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) J&K has registered FIR No. 03/2026 against Sheeba Inayat, JKAS, the then Block Development Officer, Singhpora/Pattan, over alleged possession of assets disproportionate to her known sources of income.
The FIR alleges huge bank balances, FDRs, LIC policies, jewellery and immovable properties, including a five-storey commercial complex and plots of land in Baramulla, Gulmarg, Kreeri and Chowadi, Jammu.
Searches were conducted at her residential and office premises following warrants issued by the Anti-Corruption Court, Baramulla. Incriminating material was reportedly seized, and the investigation is underway.
The allegations are subject to investigation and legal proceedings.
