Congress will fight JK polls tooth and nail: Vikar Rasool
Srinagar, Sep 05 : JKPCC former chief Vikar Rasool Wani Thursday said that the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir will be fought tooth and nail, leaving no stone unturned to give room to those taken rights of the people of J&K.
He asserted that Congress will emerge as victorious and will lead the polls with huge majority.
Wani, who is contesting Assembly election from Banihal segment, hoped that Congress will give a good fight in the upcoming elections. He said our thrust will remain on restoration of Statehood, unemployment, job & lob rights protection, and power projects.
He lauded efforts of Congress leader and LOP Rahul Gandhi for advocating people of Jammu and Kashmir particularly after August 05, 2019. โRahul Gandhi have taken up the concerns of J&K energetically in past five years. And also people of J&K have deep affection for the leader,โ he said.
โRahulโs Bharat Jodo Yatra is ample evidence of love showed by people of J&K when it reached here. People of all age groups participated and expressed their love towards the leader as they believe that Congress party has the manifesto in which people of all faiths can live, prosper and develop together,โ Wani said.
