*Massive Anti-Drug Crackdown in Anantnag: CASOs Launched at 20 Hotspot Locations*

Srinagar, Apr 28 In a major step-up against the narcotics network, Anantnag Police on Tuesday launched coordinated CASOs (Cordon and Search Operations) across 20 identified hotspot locations in the district.

As per details shared on X as per news agency Kashmir police teams are conducting raids at the residences of suspected drug kingpins with the assistance of K9 squads to trace and recover narcotics and related contraband.

Detailed survey of illegal properties linked to drug networks is also underway, which may be taken up for attachment under the provisions of the NDPS Act.

The operation is part of the intensified drive against drug trafficking under the campaign #DrugFreeAnantnag, aimed at dismantling the financial and operational structure of narcotics networks in the district.
