A&T Department bids warm farewell to Abdul Hamid Kumar, felicitates retiring officers
JAMMU, MARCH 31: A heartfelt farewell was accorded to Abdul Hamid Kumar on his superannuation as Director, Accounts & Treasuries, Kashmir, marking the culmination of a distinguished and dedicated career in government service.
The farewell function was attended by Director General, Accounts & Treasuries, Fayaz Ahmad Lone; DG Resources/Funds, Mohd Yaqoob Itoo; DG Codes, Mahesh Dass; DG Budget, Mohd Sultan Malik; along with Directors from A&T Jammu, Finance (Resources), Finance Health, and Treasury Officers from Kashmir who joined the event virtually.
Speaking on the occasion, the officers lauded Abdul Hamid Kumar for his exemplary leadership, professionalism, and unwavering commitment throughout his illustrious career. They highlighted his significant contributions towards strengthening the financial management system and acknowledged his role in enhancing institutional efficiency within the department.
The participants extended their heartfelt wishes for his good health, happiness, and a fulfilling post-retirement life.
On the occasion, several other officers of the Accounts cadre who also attained superannuation were felicitated for their dedicated services. Their contributions to the department were widely appreciated.

College of Engineering & Technology, Ganderbal), Satvir Singh Manhas (Bhaderwah), Syed Arif Yaseen (Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Kashmir), Mangat Ram Khajuria (Central Store, JPDCL, Jammu) and Jai Dev Singh (Deputy Director Audit & Inspections, Jammu).
Assistant Accounts Officers Noor Mohd Gadyari, Mohd Yousuf Lone, Ali Mohd Haroo, Parveez Ahmad Shah, Shabir Ahmad Rather and Mubeena were also felicitated on their retirement.
